WHO I AM
I am an expert Medical Editor and Translator (Italian–English), with added experience in proofreading and
post-editing. I have worked on a wide variety of document types from educational and commercial, through to technical texts.
My passion lies in language and processes, and I am a firm believer in the power of effective communication. Having worked as the lead editor on a large pharmaceutical client account, I am well versed in both giving and receiving briefs, as well as working to tight deadlines while retaining high quality outputs.
I have been a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) since 2017 and have completed all the courses within the CIEP Core Training, as well as the CIEP Medical Editing course. I am also fully trained in the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) code of practice.

I am an English and Italian native speaker
with a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting Studies. My main specialisation is medical and scientific translations (Italian–English). I am also trained in various
CAT tools, including SDL Trados, SDL MultiTerm, MemoQ and Memsource.
